2009 COLLECTION

A comprehensive project, where tradition meets modernity, translating into an absolutely harmonious style. This is the new Minotti 2009 collection, fully co-ordinated by Rodolfo Dordoni. A new spirit of contemporary decoration inspired by tradition, creating a new taste segment and implementing the principle of refined, lasting elegance in a new way. A style whose design roots and source of inspiration are to be found in the past, while standing out as innovative, on the basis of the selected materials, the modern shapes and the light volumes. A style resulting in a simple yet refined aesthetic and relying on craftsmanship as a distinctive hallmark. The exhibition area mirrors these values, looking like a large house, where lacquered walls alternate with large windows decorated with fine curtains. Visitors are welcomed at the entrance of the real exhibition area by two dove grey larch portals, as if they are crossing the threshold of this house. The room settings are enhanced by extremely sophisticated units, where the neutral colours typical of the Minotti collections are enriched with the more vivid shades of olive green and mulberry purple. A decorative bookcase with a major visual impact stands out in the middle of the house; the same bookcase is also to be found in the lounge area, where it performs an aesthetic function, establishing a “visual connection” with the intermediate floor. These two areas of the stand communicate with each other through an original spiral staircase - made of perforated mesh -, which has a major architectural impact and enhances the space, furnished like the hall of a refined hotel.
