Una obra de recalibración de los espacios y de renovación de los acabados y de los cortes arquitectónicos, finalizada en 2021, ha dado a esta villa de tres plantas de más de 1900 metros cuadrados un aspecto más luminoso y convivencial.

La planta baja está concebida como un gran volumen cubierto, sin soluciones de continuidad con el exterior, al que se asoma, ampliando la sensación espacial de los espacios interiores. Una sucesión de zonas de estar, de comedor, de salón y de ocio - separadas entre sí por paredes flexibles deslizantes y modulares que se adaptan de forma ágil a las necesidades siempre cambiantes de la vida cotidiana - albergan el mobiliario de Minotti.

El corazón de la casa es el potente salón formal de doble volumen situado en la planta semisótano: un espacio de recepción de doble altura, visible desde el comedor, en el que el salón está jalonado por diferentes espacios de convivencia: los asientos más informales del sistema de amplios asientos angulares Alexander, los más formales del sofá Jacques, ambos diseñados por Rodolfo Dordoni, y el rincón de lectura con los sillones Angie de GamFratesi. Entre la araña de cristal y bronce especialmente diseñada para este espacio, el revestimiento perimetral de bronce y madera oscura, y los grandes ventanales que contienen un impresionante acuario amazónico, la disposición distributiva del mobiliario está centrada, como una platea centrípeta alrededor de la cual se despliega el espectáculo a disfrutar.

La vista se traslada al nivel superior, donde el comedor, amueblado con una mesa de mármol rodeada de sillas Angie de GamFratesi, permite contemplar el paisaje exterior.

El salón de conversación gira en torno a la mesa de centro Jacob, punto de referencia para el riguroso sofá Freeman Tailor, protagonista del espacio, flanqueado por los arquitectónicos sillones Reeves (todos ellos diseñados por Rodolfo Dordoni).

Para los momentos de ocio entre libros y grandes pantallas, en cambio, la combinación del sofá Lawson con la mesa de centro Catlin, ambos diseñados por Rodolfo Dordoni, hace que el salón sea dinámico y flexible, relajante pero también siempre listo para los alegres momentos entre amigos.

De hecho, cada uno de estos espacios ha sido concebido como el escenario de una obra de teatro, un lugar preparado para acoger el espectáculo de la vida cotidiana en una sucesión de ambientes que se revelan a los ojos del huésped desde la primera mirada.

El jardín es el telón de fondo de todas las habitaciones de la planta baja, pero también hace de horizonte para todas las habitaciones de la zona de descanso distribuidas en la primera planta. Invadidas por la luz natural, las habitaciones superan su función nocturna para convertirse en lugares perfectos para la lectura y el descanso en soledad gracias a la combinación de los sillones Colette, el banco Yang y la clásica Lawrence Bed de Rodolfo Dordoni, flanqueada por las mesillas Lou de Christophe Delcourt.

El contraste y la continua mediación entre la elusividad de la luz natural y la matericidad de los elementos arquitectónicos y del mobiliario crea un equilibrio de paz y tranquilidad que hace de esta villa el lugar perfecto para pasar el tiempo en familia, siempre dispuestos a abrir la puerta de entrada para disfrutar de cada espacio en compañía.
