Yves Bed

Yves Bed

Yves Bed

Structure
One-piece free-standing bed frame in extra-thick plywood. The bed frame is designed to accommodate pocket springs covered with a surface layer of high-resilience (CF-free) polyurethane foam. It is then covered with perforated technical fabric that allows greater circulation of air throughout the structure. A perforated plywood panel, placed under the springs, facilitates air circulation. The one-piece headboard is made of plywood padded with high-resilience variable-density polyurethane foam (encased in breathable quilted heat-bonded polyester fibre laminated to hypoallergenic white cotton fabric). Bed frame and headboard are then covered with heat-bonded fibre laminated to white cotton fabric that lends a soft fluffiness to the padding while isolating it from the upholstery fabric, ensuring the product is hygienic. Tailoring of the structure upholstery (bed frame and headboard) is characterised by asymmetrical double-stitched seams that join the various pieces of fabric or leather previously laminated to heat-bonded fibre with the white cotton fabric. This singular tailoring process is further distinguished by piping, which enhances the haute couture aspect of the workmanship, a distinctive trait of the system.
Covers
Upholstery in fabric or leather is completely removable. The headboard upholstery can be removed by lifting the headboard out of the bed frame using the quick set and release closure system.
COVER WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Due to the special crafting process used to make the covers, only extra-soft dry cleaning with reduced mechanical action is recommended for all indoor fabrics in the Collection and for any type of customer fabric (including water-washable fabrics). Do not tumble dry.
Feet
Primary and weight-bearing in extruded aluminium varnished polished Black Coffee colour with anti-fingerprint finish or Chromed. Support is further guaranteed by metal feet with varnished polished anti-fingerprint black colour finish. Black protective SEBS and polyethylene glides.
N.B.
Given the structure of the bed, it is not possible to insert a slatted base or adjust mattress height.
BENCHES

Structure: in plywood of various thicknesses. The seat structure is made of numerous layers of variable-density high-resilience polyurethane foam. Seat structure is covered in lightweight quilted material filled with high-loft channelled goose-down padding, to lend greater softness and increase comfort. The down undergoes routine sanitization as specified in EC Regulation No. 1069/2009 (Assopiuma Gold Label certified). The quilted padding is then encased in breathable heat-bonded fibre laminated to white hypoallergenic cotton fabric. Tailoring of all the upholstery is characterised by asymmetrical double-stitched seams that join the various pieces of fabric or leather previously laminated to heat-bonded fibre with the white cotton fabric. This singular tailoring process is further distinguished by piping, which enhances the haute couture aspect of the workmanship, a distinctive trait of the system.

Covers: upholstery is completely removable in all versions (fabric and leather).

Feet: primary and weight-bearing in extruded aluminium varnished polished black coffee colour with anti-fingerprint finish or chromed. Black protective SEBS and polyethylene glides.
