La nueva 2020 Collection coordinada por Rodolfo Dordoni con Minotti Studio delinea los trazos de un nuevo ideal para la vivienda contemporánea: un proyecto de fuerte vocación internacional pero de carácter puramente italiano.
La colección refleja un área de gusto modernista y contemporánea vinculada a la pericia sartorial de la empresa, típica de la haute couture, para crear piezas de alta calidad cada vez más elegantes y exclusivas. Mediante una perfecta combinación de estética, diseño y alta costura, el proyecto mezcla estilos y voces de acreditados diseñadores con diferentes matrices culturales —Rodolfo Dordoni, Nendo, Marcio Kogan / studio mk27, GamFratesi y Christophe Delcourt— dando forma a un auténtico "proyecto Minotti".
Una colección pensada para habitar ambientes interiores y espacios al aire libre del mundo residencial y hostelero ubicados en diversas latitudes —tanto en Europa como en las Américas o en Asia— que mantienen un diálogo continuo entre sí imaginando las personas que viven en ellas, sus gestos y sus rituales cotidianos. Formas y volúmenes puros y geométricos de encanto arquitectónico distinguen los nuevos sistemas de sofás, los asientos y las piezas de mobiliario, enfatizados a través de una sofisticada confección, un espléndido juego de materiales y una exclusiva colección textil.
La Indoor Collection tiene por protagonistas cuatro nuevos sistemas de asientos: Connery, Blazer y Mattia, firmados por Rodolfo Dordoni, y Torii, de Nendo, junto a una amplia gama de sillones, mesitas y muebles.
El sistema modular de asientos Connery firmado por Rodolfo Dordoni se inspira en la arquitectura norteamericana de mediados de siglo. Versátil a nivel compositivo y en la selección y combinación de los materiales, se distingue por su rigor geométrico y por la precisión de su confección. La base acolchada puede estar revestida en tejido o con bandas de piel acabadas con una técnica que se emplea en la más exclusiva marroquinería: una manufactura que crea un original contraste con la suavidad del asiento.
La Indoor Collection tiene por protagonistas cuatro nuevos sistemas de asientos: Connery, Blazer y Mattia, firmados por Rodolfo Dordoni, y Torii, de Nendo, junto a una amplia gama de sillones, mesitas y muebles.
Por último, fruto de la reinterpretación de un signo distintivo de los proyectos setenteros del archivo Minotti, el sofá y los sillones Mattia de Rodolfo Dordoni embellecen la colección con sus formas curvas y con un asiento de estética suave y envolvente.
Firmado por Nendo, Torii es un sistema aéreo compuesto por asientos agregables que juegan con las formas redondeadas de sus volúmenes, la ligereza de los espesores y la aparente simplicidad formal de un proyecto bien desarrollado, que refleja una interesante inspiración en la tradición japonesa en los detalles constructivos de la base. El respaldo, de espesor reducido, presenta un pespunteado en listones verticales con ribeteado perimétrico que remarca el aspecto couture de su confección.
En la 2020 Collection, Marcio Kogan lleva su signo arquitectónico puro con elegantes proporciones y detalles a los ambientes interiores para caracterizar las mesas de comedor y las mesitas Linha, los muebles Boteco y los sillones Daiki, estos últimos interpretados también en versión de exteriores. Piezas de fuerte personalidad, expresión del minimalismo que caracteriza los proyectos de Kogan y testimonio de una atención casi obsesiva a los detalles constructivos y a la selección de materiales preciados.
El dúo GamFratesi propone una síntesis perfecta entre la cultura escandinava y la tradición italiana en un diálogo contemporáneo entre interiores y exteriores, protagonizado por los sillones y las butacas para el comedor y el salón Fynn y Fynn Saddle-Hide: una original mezcla de materiales —la madera y el cuero— trabajados con maestría para diseñar asientos impecables y ligeros, de estructura esencial.
Junto a sus numerosos complementos, mesitas y accesorios, la colección de interiores se completa con las piezas Lou 2020 firmadas por Christophe Delcourt: la familia de muebles diseñada en 2017, ahora revisitada, presenta una versión ligera del proyecto original con un look renovado a través de sus colores y materiales y del detalle constructivo de las patas de metal.
Objeto de un esfuerzo proyectual de la misma importancia, la 2020 Outdoor Collection incluye piezas concebidas para habitar los espacios al aire libre, como jardines y terrazas privadas, exteriores de centros hosteleros o yates.
Entre sus protagonistas destaca Sunray, firmado por Rodolfo Dordoni: un sistema de asientos de diseño envolvente que se orienta hacia la intimidad y el relax, en línea con el concepto de vida al aire libre Minotti.
La colección se completa con los asientos y la mesa de comedor Fynn Outdoor firmados por GamFratesi, los asientos Daiki Outdoor de Marcio Kogan y la mesa de comedor Terrace de Rodolfo Dordoni, junto a numerosos complementos y accesorios.
