Historia de una excelencia italiana

Minotti es una empresa italiana reconocida a escala internacional como una excelencia Made in Italy en el sector del mueble contemporáneo, intérprete de un concepto de lifestyle clásico-moderno en el sector residencial y hostelero.

Nace en 1948 en Meda a raíz de una intuición de Alberto Minotti. Su carácter artesanal inicial se modifica rápidamente y, a partir de los años sesenta, asume características y dimensiones industriales. El siguiente paso lo dieron sus hijos, Renato y Roberto Minotti, que ya llevaban varios años en la empresa, y que tomaron las riendas en 1991 tras la prematura muerte de su padre, iniciando un proceso de crecimiento y expansión hacia los mercados internacionales. Responsables de las estrategias de la empresa, a partir de 1998 comparten la línea creativa y los principios estéticos de sus productos con el arquitecto Rodolfo Dordoni, a quien confían un papel estratégico de coordinación de las colecciones Minotti. Una historia de excelencia italiana que, desde finales de los años noventa también ve unirse a la empresa la tercera generación, en las figuras de Alessio (en 1998), Alessandro (en 2003), Susanna (en 2013) y Leonardo (en 2020), que contribuyen a la evolución de la marca, trabajando en varios y diferentes aspectos de la empresa, gracias a sus competencias transversales y complementarias.

La plena expresión del “Made in Italy” que hoy funde indisolublemente tradición e innovación es la fórmula clave de la identidad de Minotti: la habilidad del artesano acaba un producto nacido de las más modernas tecnologías, mientras que la inteligencia de sus manos aporta sensibilidad y emoción a la precisión industrial. A su alto nivel de pericia se suma una minuciosa búsqueda de materiales y soluciones tecnológicas que resaltan el gusto por el detalle impecable, en una tensión ideal hacia la excelencia que abarca todos los sectores de la empresa.

Con los años va perfeccionándose ese código Minotti que aparece como una constante en todas sus colecciones, siguiendo el principio guía de innovación basada en la continuidad. Nace del ADN de Minotti, vinculado a valores de sobriedad estética, elegancia atemporal, continuidad en la tradición y pericia artesanal, con una atención sartorial a los detalles.

En este proceso Minotti Studio desempeña un papel fundamental. Corazón y mente de la empresa, reúne en sí todas las competencias del sector creativo: de la arquitectura al diseño de interiores, de la prototipación y la ingeniería al diseño gráfico y visual, la mercadotecnia o la comunicación. Minotti Studio da forma a las ideas y a las necesidades proyectuales de los diseñadores encauzando energías creativas procedentes de diversas matrices culturales en el desarrollo de colecciones de interiores y exteriores, para la casa y para la colectividad, que interpretan la identidad de Minotti y la evolución de los estilos de la vivienda.

El año 2018 marca un punto de inflexión en la gestión del diseño de la empresa. Respaldada por un proceso de crecimiento basado en la continuidad y el rigor junto al arquitecto Rodolfo Dordoni, la empresa acoge un estimulante y creativo diálogo multicultural gracias a las nuevas e inesperadas interpretaciones de acreditadas figuras del diseño y de la arquitectura, como Christophe Delcourt, Nendo y Marcio Kogan / studio mk27, siempre bajo la dirección del proyectista milanés. Posteriormente, en 2019, entra en escena los diseñadores  italo-daneses GamFratesi.
2021 celebra el comienzo de un nuevo camino en el que Minotti propone una serie de muebles diseñados para interpretar una nueva forma de vivir y trabajar que exploran los ambientes de estudio y trabajo, tanto en la oficina como en casa: nace Studio Collection, una selección de mesas de reuniones, escritorios y sillas diseñadas por Marcio Kogan / studio mk27.
En 2022, la marca explora nuevos horizontes creativos y acoge la firma del dúo japonés-danés Inoda+Sveje.

En 2022, Minotti también recibe un prestigioso reconocimiento que incluye a la empresa en el Registro Especial de Marcas Históricas de Interés Nacional – establecido por el MISE, el Ministerio de Desarrollo Económico – que pone en valor las empresas Made in Italy registradas desde hace al menos cincuenta años y vinculadas históricamente al territorio.

La vocación internacional de Minotti se ha traducido en una presencia capilar en 80 países a través de 56 tiendas insignia y de una red de más de 300 distribuidores cualificados en todo el mundo, lugares donde hoy es posible vivir la experiencia del sofisticado e internacional lifestyle de la empresa.
