2018 Collection

Un nuevo código decorativo distingue la instalación de Minotti en el Salón del Mueble de Milán: moderno y solar, gráfico e incisivo, se hace intérprete de los distintos sellos estilísticos de los diseñadores que firman la 2018 Collection en el interior de un proyecto totalmente coordinado y armónico.

Las grandes cristaleras retroiluminadas, delineadas por perfiles geométricos, los paneles correderos de vidrio mateado al ácido y las paredes de finos listones de madera evocan escenografías japonesas; las boiseries de cemento, suavizadas por la presencia de una aplicación de cobre, y los suelos de cemento tratado presentan un carácter matérico y racionalista. La ancha concavidad dórica y el juego de variedades de madera sugieren tradición y signo decorativo, mientras que el motivo exclusivo que dibuja las paredes remite a los años setenta.

Son los cortes arquitectónicos de impacto lo que caracteriza la instalación general, que cubre una superficie de 2000 m² y cuenta con una escenográfica escalera que asciende hacia el entrepiso, donde la colección 2018 se expresa en su acepción hostelera. Ambientes hasta el techo se alternan con otros más acogedores, a los que se accede a través de un trayecto rico en sorpresas a partir de la misma zona de entrada, que anticipa sus grupos temáticos.

A la recepción equipada con mostrador retrobarnizado en color Petróleo, una de las tonalidades distintivas de la paleta Minotti, hace de contrapunto una cristalera con vistas a un salón que aloja ambientaciones de interiores. Enfrente, un patio con suelo de piedra Piasentina colocada en opus incertum exhibe la colección de exteriores y la firma de Marcio Kogan, mientras que un plató con fuerte personalidad, caracterizado por las piezas de Nendo y Christophe Delcourt, presenta la colección de hostelería, visualizada en la pantalla oversize de 8 x 4,5 m en un diaporama de imágenes que ilustra los productos y los proyectos de la colección 2018.

Atravesando una sucesión de ambientes que sugieren distintas interpretaciones de las piezas que protagonizan los espacios, firmadas fundamentalmente por Rodolfo Dordoni, Christophe Delcourt y Nendo, el trayecto interno mantiene alto el efecto escénico que culmina en el gran salón final.

Verdadero coup de théatre, la chimenea suspendida en el centro de la estancia reproduce fielmente, pero en escala oversize, la diseñada en 1960 por el arquitecto Gigi Radice para la residencia del fundador de la empresa Alberto Minotti y de su familia. Todavía hoy, sigue manteniendo intacto su valor de icono de ese patrimonio familiar y cultural de pericia artesanal que forma parte del ADN de Minotti.
