El juego de masas recreado con la sólida presencia escultural de las patas semicirculares de Wedge sirve de contrapunto a la ligereza de su base, que presenta un corte oblicuo en forma de punta de cincel. 
Todo el volumen de la mesa, dotada de un tablero de generosas dimensiones, parece perder peso y apoyarse con ligereza sobre las puntas, desafiando la ley de gravedad. 

El efecto sorpresa se amplifica en la versión provista de tablero de vidrio con forma de barril, en cuya superficie afloran los semicírculos de los soportes distribuidos intencionalmente de manera irregular.

Disponible con forma redonda, rectangular o de barril, con los cuatro lados ligeramente arqueados, el tablero puede ser de vidrio bronceado, de madera de fresno color Moka o de mármol Calacatta, Stone Grey o Nero Marquina.
Las bases, de metal satinado color Malta o de acero brillante —este último de clara inspiración años setenta— pueden combinarse con los tableros de mármol y de madera. En la versión con tablero de vidrio bronceado exclusivamente, las bases están revestidas en madera wengué color Moka.

In the glass top version, the respective glass sheets are drilled to allow attachment of the upper mounting plates to the legs. The marble and wood tops are supported by a laminated aluminium structural panel, 31 mm thick, varnished matt black. The Ø 160, 180 and 200 cm marble tops are always divided into three parts, while the 260x120, 280x120, 300x120 cm rectangular tops and the 290x130 and 310x130 cm barrel-shaped tops are always divided into two parts.
Legs finishes
- satin finish metal varnished Malt colour, available only with marble and wood tops; - polished steel, available only with marble and wood tops; - metal with brushed wenge veneer, open pore Moka colour lacquer finish, available only with glass top.
