Minotti abre en Wuhan

Para Minotti, inaugurar un showroom en el mundo, sobre todo si hablamos de una tienda insignia, es como abrir una parte de nuestra propia casa en otro lugar. No se trata simplemente de replicar un proyecto hasta el infinito, sino de derribar fronteras: lo que ocurre, se crea, se ve y se siente en la sede central de Meda se traslada al mundo, adaptándolo e interpretándolo, pero manteniendo la coherencia con el estilo de la marca.

Así fue como hace dos años comenzó la historia en Wuhan: un proyecto que comenzó a finales de 2019 y que finalmente vio su apertura en febrero de 2022 en el Jianghan District. El showroom forma parte del CBD de Wuhan, el denominado Huafa Zhongcheng Commercial City, un nuevo distrito salpicado de varios centros comerciales.

La suave y sinuosa forma del edificio, que se asemeja a una proa orgánica que se dirige hacia nuevos confines, ha inspirado optimismo durante la construcción, que ha avanzado sin cesar. La tienda insignia tiene dos grandes niveles con un total de 890 metros cuadrados y, desde el exterior, hay acceso directo a ambos niveles donde hay zonas de exposición, recepción y servicio. La transparencia de la fachada del centro comercial, caracterizada por los montantes verticales que dan ritmo a la superficie acristalada, permite vislumbrar desde el exterior la presentación de las últimas colecciones de Minotti: un veo-no-veo, entre cristaleras y cortinas de lino gris, que invita a entrar y continuar la visita en el interior del showroom para descubrir las propuestas de Minotti.

El carácter de las colecciones está en total continuidad para crear un concepto de hogar integral, coherente en cada espacio y en cada estación, incluso en el exterior. Este último entorno se funde tan perfectamente con la estética del interior que el límite entre el interior y el exterior lo dictan únicamente los materiales utilizados, no el mobiliario.

La chimenea, elemento icónico de los espacios expositivos de Minotti, y la sinuosa escalera que, como una cinta enrollada sobre sí misma, une los dos niveles de exposición, son las dos piedras angulares de la arquitectura de este nuevo showroom, junto con el uso comedido del diálogo entre la luz natural y la artificial y los colores de las superficies. Todo en su sitio, en absoluta armonía, para que el espacio expositivo sea ante todo un escenario y no un engorroso protagonista; que sea al mismo tiempo fuerte e intenso para acoger a los invitados en un lugar memorable con una fuerte connotación estética.

El salón, el comedor y las zonas de reunión se suceden con una mezcla de muebles y soluciones más vendidas de las colecciones más recientes, como los sistemas de asientos Connery, Freeman y Alexander, los asientos Aston y Seymour, todos ellos diseñados por Rodolfo Dordoni, el sinuoso sistema Daniels de Christophe Delcourt y los asientos Torii de Nendo. Los espacios exteriores están animados por el sistema modular Quadrado de Marcio Kogan / studio mk27 y los sillones Fynn Outdoor de GamFratesi.

Porque la casa Minotti de Wuhan es, ante todo, un lugar de hospitalidad y acogida donde se puede saborear el gusto (la emoción, el sabor e incluso el olor) de entrar en una casa Made in Italy capaz de contar su historia en todo el mundo.
