Minotti designs the interiors and outdoor areas of the Oceano 50 yacht recently built by Mangusta, a naval architecture complemented by furnishing solutions of exceptional comfort.
The designer is Alberto Mancini, who teamed up with the yard’s Engineering Office to exploit and optimise the internal and external spaces of the yacht to the full, transforming a boat with high technological parameters into a place of great comfort and elegance.
A perfect combination of performance and cutting edge design, in which the decor is an integral part of the project: one of the unique elements of Oceano 50 is the balance between the internal and external spaces, created so that the owner and his or her guests can enjoy the different private and entertaining areas, custom-designed to meet everyone’s needs.
The stern door creates a single, seamless dialogue with the living area in which light and air become the natural protagonists, an effect also amplified by the two large side doors that enable the direct interaction of the day area - characterised by the Seymour seating system by Rodolfo Dordoni and the Fil Noir small armchairs by Christophe Delcourt - with the living and dining area on the deck en plein air, where the spotlight is on the Tape Cord Outdoor small armchairs by Nendo.
The master cabin, spanning no less than 52 sqm, is located on the main deck and features a large dressing area and an exclusive, fully automatic “balcony” overlooking the sea: a space extending seamlessly from the indoor areas to those over the sea, with plenty of corners for reading and working in. The Angie small armchair by GamFratesi complements the desk, forming the perfect workstation, while the Tape armchairs by Nendo, accompanied by the Caulfield coffee table by Rodolfo Dordoni, complete the space, creating a harmonious conversation area.
All the spaces are characterised by a sophisticated, understated elegance. Here, the light shades of the fabrics used and the choice of refined wooden finishes and high-performance materials effortlessly mellow an environment where the technological aspect of design rules the waves.
