The PB Farmhouse project is conceived as architecture seamlessly embedded in the rolling hills of the Maremma region, where open-air living naturally extends the interior spaces and their surrounding landscape. The outdoor spaces thus become elegant, inviting settings, deeply immersed in greenery and designed to foster an ongoing relationship between human-made architecture and nature, enhanced by Minotti furnishing solutions that express an equilibrium of forms and understated comfort.
The choice of materials further strengthens this connection to the location: the architectural volumes are clad in locally sourced Colombino stone, quarried on site and crafted by hand, while the outdoor paving in Santa Fiora stone echoes the material heritage of the local landscape, ensuring visual and sensory continuity.
The outdoor lounge area, opening onto the pool, is characterised by the Alison “Dark Brown” Outdoor seating system, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni and Roberto Minotti. The balanced volumes and natural colour palette harmonise with the surrounding environment, creating an atmosphere of subtle elegance. The arrangement is accentuated by the rigorous geometry of the Quadrado armchairs by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 and the Sunray coffee table by Rodolfo Dordoni. The visual dialogue with the water amplifies the sense of tranquillity and well-being, turning the space into a sanctuary for both reflection and shared moments.
The outdoor dining area serves as the heart of social life and is set beneath a dark metal pergola, whose minimalist design creates a cohesive dialogue with the rustic character of the masonry. This area features the Quadrado table by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 and the Fynn Outdoor dining little armchairs by GamFratesi, inviting guests to share relaxed, informal moments together.
The basis of the entire project is a carefully measured balance between architecture, furniture, and landscape, resulting in a contemporary, elegant, and functional space, conceived for an authentic, timeless outdoor living experience.
