Restaurado por el estudio de arquitectura portugués Openbook, el Edificio São Carlos, a pocos pasos del Teatro Nacional de São Carlos, es testigo de la resistencia de la ciudad de Lisboa tras el terremoto de 1755, y sus muros históricos consagran la belleza de una vivienda que equilibra armoniosamente las exigencias de la vida contemporánea con la herencia y el encanto del pasado: la elegante piedra que enmarca las vidrieras se ha conservado cuidadosamente, al igual que la gran altura de los techos, lo que eleva la sensación de espacio y la sofisticación de las piezas de diseño elegidas para amueblar las estancias.

El espacioso piso alterna luminosas zonas de comedor y de estar, caracterizadas por un ambiente cálido y acogedor que da la bienvenida a las novedades de la 2023 Collection de la marca, junto con diseños icónicos. 

La entrada conduce a una primera zona de estar, amueblada con las líneas modernas y sinuosas de la familia de asientos Raphael, design GamFratesi, que encuentran su marco ideal entre las elegantes decoraciones clásicas, junto con el volumen suavemente redondeado del puf Torii Bold de Nendo. La sucesión de curvas se repite también en el comedor contiguo, donde destaca en el centro la fuerte personalidad de la icónica mesa Van Dyck de Rodolfo Dordoni, en su versión redonda, acompañada de las nuevas butacas de comedor Raphael

Una segunda zona de estar más amplia cuenta con el sistema modular de asientos Dylan Low, diseñado por Rodolfo Dordoni, que combina la estética contemporánea con un gusto más tradicional, en consonancia con el ambiente atemporal del lugar, acompañado por los asientos de la familia Raphael. Los signos de Dylan Low, caracterizados por una sofisticada densidad de detalles sartoriales, encuentran eco en el sillón giratorio Sally de Rodolfo Dordoni, que crea, junto con la mesa de centro Brady, un sofisticado rincón de lectura o conversación, dedicado a la relajación.

Por último, el salón desemboca en un pequeño oasis de tranquilidad, que acoge la suave curva asimétrica del sofá Lars, diseñado por Inoda+Sveje, junto con el estilo setentero de la mesa de centro Louver, diseñada por Dordoni.

Entre las avenidas que rezuman arte e historia de la capital portuguesa, el diálogo entre la autenticidad de la residencia, que conserva su esplendor original, y el espíritu contemporáneo que distingue las propuestas de Minotti se revela en una combinación de colores delicados y precisos contrastes de materiales.
