Cuando Shlomi Alexander y su hijo Oren adquirieron un lote de terreno en Bal Harbour, zona al norte de Miami en notable expansión, tenían la firme intención de realizar una casa que pudiera valorizar de manera absoluta la belleza del lugar. El proyecto se puso en manos del arquitecto Chad Oppenheim, que decidió traducirlo en un concepto que une armoniosamente espacios interiores a espacios exteriores. La estructura del edificio muestra reminiscencias de la arquitectura modernista asociadas a ecos de arquitectura minimalista japonesa, creando un refinado conjunto que se inserta perfectamente en la lujuriante vegetación tropical. La elección de Oppenheim privilegia el uso de materiales nobles como el roble americano empleado para los pavimentos, boiserie, cielorrasos y contenedores, travertino para la pavimentación exterior y la piscina, y vidrio para las grandes ventanas correderas, pensadas como marcos de cuadros que tienen como protagonista a la lozana naturaleza del jardín. El proyecto de diseño de interiores, realizado por Minotti Studio con la colaboración de Minotti Miami by DDC, presenta numerosos elementos elegidos entre la amplia colección de la empresa. El amplio espacio living ha sido amueblado con una amplia composición angular del sistema de asientos Yang, combinado con una mesita Huber con estructura cromada y tablero de mármol; la alfombra es el modelo Landfield. Una segunda área lounge presenta sofás Seymour revestidos en un elegante tejido de chenilla color azul, con sillones Leslie y Glover, puf Yang y mesitas Elliott y Catlin en distintos tamaños; la alfombra es Dibbets Frame. En el comedor adyacente, la mesa Neto con tablero de roble moka se acompaña de confortables y refinadas butacas Aston. En el dormitorio, la cama Yang se combina con mesitas de noche Close, mientras que junto a una mesita Catlin se han colocado sillones Leslie; la alfombra es el modelo Landfield. La refinada elegancia que caracteriza los ambientes interiores se repite en las elecciones de decoración de los espacios exteriores, donde se utilizan sillones y chaise longues de la serie Rivera, con mesitas Sullivan Outdoor, Cesar Outdoor, Warren Outdoor y Bellagio Outdoor.
