The client asked for an expansion of the existing home to include a large living room with dining area and ample kitchen. While fully respecting the original architectural design dating back to the '50s, a contemporary structure was chosen that opens to the outdoors through a series of large sliding doors. The architectural design is deliberately minimal, making special use of materials that range from grey stone for the floors to white walls and dark wood paneling. The interior design project which followed skillfully weaves together comfort and elegance, to meet the needs of this large family.
The spacious living area was furnished with a Hamilton sofa upholstered in a warm shade of brown and brightened by Jensen armchairs in a lively shade of orange. For the dining area a Van Dyck table with Smoked Grey glass top.
