An interior of rare elegance designed by Minotti L.A. for a 1700 square meter home in the exclusive Bird Streets area in the heights above Hollywood Blvd., where the sweeping views reach from Malibu to Catalina. In addition to the main building and pool, the property also includes a separate guest house with its own pool, a gym and a garage. The residence’s typically modern architecture was inspired by the California Case Study House designs where the real stars are precious materials used to complete the interiors, like the marble that clads walls and bathrooms, white quartz used for flooring, and the grey quartz that covers the walls.
To furnish the various rooms in the home, Mary Ta of Minotti L.A., creative mind behind the interior design project, drew heavily from the Minotti collections, choosing the Williams sofas with the Calder coffee tables for the spacious living room, the Claydon table and Mills chairs and the Harvey sideboard for the dining room, the Hamilton Islands sofa, Portofino armchair and Capri pouf, and the Caulfield and Bellagio coffee tables for the home theatre. Featured in the master bedroom is the Tatlin-Cover bed with Harvey nightstands and the Flynt bench.
