This private residence, nestled in the unspoilt nature of Central Bohemia, was inspired by the owner's desire to create a minimalist architecture, enhanced by the refined design of the Minotti furnishing pieces.
Developed over two levels with an open plan, the villa is characterised by an internal block that connects the various spaces and is framed by floor-to-ceiling glass windows and sliding doors: on the one hand, these blur the boundaries with the outside and, on the other, they open up to reveal the inner garden, where a reading corner featuring the Tape Cord Outdoor armchairs and Tape Outdoor coffee table by Nendo is located.
The ground floor is conceived as a large open space in which living and dining areas harmoniously alternate: the rational lines, the mix of materials such as marble, wood and steel, and the colour palette in shades of grey create elegant, modern atmospheres.
Two living islands dominate the scene, in which the sculptural marble fireplace is the centrepiece. Here, the versatility of the Freeman and Seymour seating systems, paired with the Leslie armchairs - all designed by Rodolfo Dordoni - offers an unusual interpretation of the space: a cosier area for relaxing moments rather than an area with a mood conceived for social occasions.
The Home Wellness area, joined to the main building and overlooking the garden outside, turns out to be an oasis of well-being, thanks to the comfort provided by the Aston Cord Outdoor seats by Rodolfo Dordoni.
The garden, dotted with plants and flowers, in the shade of centuries-old trees, also become a pleasant refuge from city life, and the veranda with the Quadrado table by Marcio Kogan / studio mk27, accompanied by the Nendo Tape Cord Outdoor dining little armchairs, is the ideal place for indulging in a delicious alfresco lunch.
In perfect harmony with its natural surroundings, the villa was designed to create the right balance between indoor and outdoor spaces, enlivened by the refined taste of the timeless furnishing pieces by Minotti.
